# The Worst Advertising Slogan Ever

The rapid spread of SARS epidemic in Hong Kong has left over 30 residents dead and possibly more than a thousand infected. This has led to serious economic consequences in the territory and a virtual halt to the tourist trade.
But due to long lead-times, the Hong Kong Tourist Board has recently published what may be the worst advertising slogan _ever_:
**Hong Kong will take your breath away.**

Diflucan is a pill to treat vaginal yeast infections. The alternate treatment requires insertion of anti-yeast cream. Diflucan’s original advertisements featured the slogan “Kiss Your Messy Cream Goodbye”. Yuck.

Not really their slogan, but funny all the same. IIRC, it was the Scooter Shop, a place that sells the motorized scooters for the differently abled:

The regional commuter train near Philadelphia, which is called SEPTA, had a slogan in the early 90s that had me snickering every time I thought of it:
SEPTA: it’s better than driving.
Talk about damning with faint praise!

Chi Chi’s Restaurants used the slogan “When You Feel a Little Mexican.” It just sounded risque’, and possibly illegal if the Little Mexican was underage.

They’ve killed it\*, but they weren’t able to take it out of some magazines. Their new slogan is **There’s No Place Like Hong Kong** , which makes me think there’s a large Munchin population in the province.

During the first week or so of the present imbroglio, Pres. Bush spoke at a military base in Florida (I assume an Air Force base); behind him was a large banner with the USAF’s latest slogan:

Especially since, if I’m not mistaken (and I very well could be; I don’t speak spanish), “chi chi” is a spanish slang for breastages. :eek:
