Yeah, holy crap, I had no idea we had an out-and-proud Nazi on our boards. His one virtue is that he normally shuts the fuck up, but he’s apparently off that wagon. ---

Is “gaggle” the proper collective noun for Nazis? “Gaggle” is for geese. How about “a jackboot of Nazis”? ---

Did I miss **dalej42** on the list somewhere? Since he got a topic ban I haven’t seen him around as much anymore, but whenever he posts he lowers the level of discourse in the thread. Yeah, and handsomeharry is a real piece of work. ---

Now that **handy** is gone, no one poster contributes the least amount of actual substance, yet has a dizzyingly large post count, as **ElvisLives**. His signal to noise ratio is insanely low, yet he’s so delusional that he actually thinks he’s contributing. And what is super-frustrating is that he and I are kinda on the same side of the political spectrum. So whenever I try to engage someone in an actual debate, with like facts and law and stuff, he pops in, spouts nonsense, and makes liberals look like gibbering idiots. And, because it’s a ton easier to shoot fish in a barrell, those of the more conservative bent will engage him, rather than deal with the actual issues. So any potential debate turns into a “pay attention to me!” fest of idiotic namecalling, substanceless rhetoric, and sad attempts at humor. So I’d take Shodan, Starving Artist, or even Bricker, over him anyday. At least they contribute something, even if it is just an occasional bon mot, a paper tube meme, or pedantic, legalistic wrangling covered by a sheen of smug superiority. ---

Getting back to Nazis for a moment, I believe the formal collective term would be a putsch of Nazis, as in “I wrote a brilliant post but a putsch of goddam thread-shitting grammar Nazis showed up and mocked my sentence structure”. But if there are an awful lot of them then what you’ve got is a veritable heil of Nazis, sometimes incorrectly described as a heil of a lot of Nazis. In the original language, of course, it has always been a Freundschaftsbezeigungen of Nazis. ---
