Which web sites (other than porn sites, and NO LINKS, remember) seem to be the worst when it comes to spewing out several popup ads? Whenever I visit [www.moviemistakes.com](http://www.moviemistakes.com) I get 3 or 4 pop-ups at once, and not just when I go to the main page, either, but any time I go to a new page within the site. My pop-up blocker, which makes a buzzing sound every time it kills an ad, sounds like a bug zapper whenever I hit this site. ---

Anyone who has seen the Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode where Master Shake starts getting hit with pop-up ads might know of one. The website is (or was, I don’t dare check again) [www.yzzrdd.com](http://www.yzzrdd.com). The site does nothing but flood your machine with pop-up ads (as seen on the episode) until you are forced to reboot. Very annoying, but credit to the episode writers for making the connection. ---

[About.com](http://About.com) is pretty pop-up ladened ofr a non-porn, non-trying-to-sell-you something site. ---

I seem to remember Orbitz being full of pop-ups, maybe that’s changed. Since I started using **Mozilla** as a browser, I don’t see _any_ pop-ups anymore. Don’t miss 'em, either. (edit -\> preferences -\> advanced -\> scripts & plug-ins, uncheck “open unrequested windows”) ---

I used to like a site called “Foreign Languages for Travelers” ([http://www.travlang.com](http://www.travlang.com)) - just to compare basic words in various languages…to see how close Russian is to Polish for instance…but the site is now completly unusable…which is a shame because I’d really enjoy it if it were navegable ☹
