I have to say, the pictures of the finished(ish) building, from a distance, looked worryingly not-too-disastrous. From far enough away that the wonky angles and bizarrely split-level roof ridge aren’t obvious… well, I’ve seen plenty of barns in worse shape around here. Granted, many of them have been standing for decades or even centuries…

Damn, I was hoping this was a contest. We just demolished [this masterpiece](https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/535952_531023700274248_1272273043_n.jpg) on our land. Unfortunately, I don’t think we would have won, anyway; at least the rafters were oriented correctly.
