# The worst thing you ever skipped on...

Some friends and I went to look at some caving sites in upstate NY, hoping to set up a trip the next day. The sites we visited were all flooded out, and the creeks and rivers in the area were all swollen with runoff from the mountains. So we cancelled the trip. Well, the next day, the [bridge](http://ny.water.usgs.gov/projects/scour/text.html) we passed over on our trip, and would have taken the next day, had a little accident.
