I need to buy a few more silly things for my housemate, as we’re getting round the whole ‘Christmas is no fun when you’re all adults’ thing basically by not being adults. 😃 Anyways, I’m out to buy chips for dinner, being English and all. Too lazy to cook today. ---

**Nuts** , [these](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonpareils)are the kinds of nonpareils used in the recipe. Little colored balls of sugar. 😃 They make the cookies very colorful. We leave in about 45 minutes. I need to get rid of my t-shirt and find a slightly more appropriate top. It’s not a fancy venue, but it’s a step or two above grungy. I’m not even planning to wear long sleeves - I’ll use my napkin! 😉 So yeah, it’s kinda classy. 😃 Daughter is coming over in a couple of hours to feed the dog and the fishies. She doesn’t sound as awful as she did on Thursday, so there’s that. We’ll see if she’s up to going out to dinner with us tomorrow… like she’ll skip the Japanese Steak House! ---

**Nuts** I know it sounds a little cruel but the nonpareil feathers make the cookies more festive. 😃 I have had a nappy poo and a little “appreciation” time. This has been the extent of my productivity this afternoon. ---

Good afternoon! We have no plans this weekend at all. So today has been lazy. I did go get my haircut so I put outside clothes on but **mr ems** is still in jammies. [Applesauce or sour cream?](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW2Ks-ARHOs) It’s been a shitty week and I just figured out why. I had been guzzling Diet Coke for the last two weeks because I was tired and had so much to do. This week I went back to my usual small intake and this equals UGLY WITHDRAWAL STUFF. So, I feel better even having figured out what my problem was. Now, back to homework. ETA: Sour cream for me! ---

The brisket has been in the oven at 300 degrees American for almost three hours. If I am lucky. Mrs. Plant v.3.0 has forgotten her threat to make matzoh ball soup. ---
