I don’t spend a whole heck of a lot of time over here so for all I know this has been covered before. I log on when I get home and check out MPSIMS. I reply to a post or two, check out a couple of links, then move on the Pit…where all but three threads are grey. So on day two I start out in the Pit, then move on to GQ…where all but 8 threads are grey. On day three I start out in GQ, then move on to GD…where all but 2 threads are grey. What bothers me more is when there’s more than one page of new posts and all the posts on page 2 are greyed out. So is there a way I can fix this? Maybe open all the forums into different browsers? Is this a vB glitch? A browser glitch? ---

The vB software doesn’t keep track of which threads you have opened. It only keeps track of when you last visited. Everytime you click the banner to return to the forum list it counts this as a new visit. I recommend using the back button on your browser to return to the forum list. This could help. But really you just need to look at the time of the last post to see if anything new has been added to a thread. I hope this helps. ---

Also, whenever you post, it resets, so only threads posted to after your last post will be red. This isn’t obvious if you use the back arrow to return to the list of threads, but it happens. ---
