Movies with “The Yellow Rose of Texas” “Giant” (1956) At the end of the movie, there is a big fistfight in a diner when the owner refuses to let Hispanics eat there. The jukebox is playing “The Yellow Rose of Texas” in the background. ---

To answer the OP, the YRoT was featured in that cult favorite (“the best movie ever made,” according to some), **The Searchers.** There’s a big dance ho-down scene before the wedding where they sing it. Watching it on AMC as I type this. ---
