The yellow Sun paradox

Another factor. A yellow sun has historical baggage.

The western world formed and matured in Europe. Most of Europe is fairly northern, which means the sun doesn’t get as high as many other more southerly places and spends a good bit of the year being rather low in the sky for that matter.

So, as a semi-educated WAG, a European sun is getting 2 or more give or take amounts of blue “taken out of it” than say someone in lower America.

So, even if its “the sun looks yellow because its supposed to”, while it may not be as obvious to some guy in New Orleans, there is a factual basis for the not quite as true now factoid.
