**It’s about bloody _time!_** _The Young Ones - Every Stoopid Episode_ will be released on DVD on September 17th. Yeah, this one’s in the shopping cart! Sure, it’s $45. But it’s worth it! ---

Oh wow! Now I won’t have to rely on the brief doses I get when I visit my Mom & her satelite tv! (BBC America kicks arse!) Now if I can just figure out how to afford a dvd player… ---

I’ve killed a hippy and now I’ll have to pay! Oh my, I haven’t watched this for a couple of years; time to dig out the videos! ---

That little white dot on the telly is a sign. It means something. It means . . . there’s no more telly. ---

Thanks for that good news! My tapes off MTV disappeared years ago, and the price for getting them all on VHS seemed prohibitive. My library’s got Fawlty Towers and all the Blackadders, but they don’t stock TYO. Forty-five bucks for the DVD seems like a good deal to me even if it’s just the episodes, and I assume they’ll have at least a few additional features stuck on there. “Oh dear. This calls for a very special blend of psychology and extreme violence.” ---

> [@](#): > > I’ve killed a hippy and now I’ll have to pay! Of course you’ll have to pay! Just a measly 45 bucks for some of the finest comedy ever produced! And your $45 buys you not one, not two, but _three_ DVDs! Why pay sixty dollars or more for a set of four VHS tapes, when you can get the entire series on three DVDs? But wait! There’s more! (Well, actually I’m finished with the commercial.) 😃 I was re-packing boxes of VHS tapes yesterday. I was hoping I’d come across TYO, but they must be in another box. Now that they’re coming out on DVD, I don’t have to look for my tapes! (I did come across David Lynch’s short-lived series _On the Air_ in one of the boxes. All seven episodes. Plus _The Forbidden Zone_ and _Naked Lunch_. 🙂 ) ---

I got the VHS set as a gift a few years back, and I was surprised to see that there was some stuff that MTV cut out, like stuffed animals boinking and a funny bit with a racist cop. ---

Going on the wish list with major hints being droped to family members. I haven’t see these in years, so glad they’re getting a DVD release. It’s a great format for TV series, especially sitcoms and sketch shows. Neil: Uh, Vyvian, can you like, actually kill yourself with laxatives? Vyv: I don’t know, Neil, but I’m going to stick around and find out. Besides any show that can have Motorhead playing “Ace Of Spades” in the middle of the living room rules. ---
