“Vyvyan, Vyvyan, Vyvyan!” Honestly, ano time anything blows up around here, it’s always bloody “Vyvyan!” I have the series on VHS. I wish they’d come out on DVD. (BTW: When I get new mail my computer says, “It’s a video nasty!” When I make an error it says, “Bloody! Bloody! Bloody!” A lesser error says, “Pa-thetic.”) ---

Man. I loved The Young Ones. I must have laughed for ten minutes when Mike nailed his legs to the table. I also loved it when they released the demon by saying his name and he put the knitting needle into Neil’s head. I just found out recently that the actor that played Vyvyan (Ade Edmonson) on The Young Ones is married to Jennifer Saunders of Ab Fab fame. What a great couple! They have a couple of kids and one of them is named Freya if I remember right. In fact, Jennifer’s character on Ab Fab (Edina Monsoon) is a reference to her husband (ED MONdSOoN.) ---
