It was funny until it became obvious this guy has some serious mental issues, it´s not kind of sad, it _is_ sad to see someone living a life like that. It´s one thing to be dumb or a fool in the colloquial sense of the word, but when the marble count shows a deficit I can´t find that funny. ---

**Miller** , Yeah, I was probably being a little crotchety there. There is a certain weird poetry in the ramblings, particularly his more recent ones in the sun thread. But I don’t like his insults and his constant evasion. Of course if the rest of the posters stopped the futile quest of getting a coherent answer out of him–and what do they expect, that he actually will pull empirical proof of his theories out of his hat–and just egged him on, the thread might be a little less exasperating. ---

I vote he’s a troll. But I’m an optimistic individual and it’s really hard for me to believe that anyone who could compose a complete sentence could also believe in this kind of claptrap. But I’ve been wrong before. Multiple times, even. Also, appears to have taken a turn for self-parody in his most recent posts in the Electric Sun thread. I think he’s just taking advantage of us at this point. ---

People can have all sorts of loopy, irrational beliefs and still hold down good jobs. He’s not talking about hearing voices or receiving visions, he doesn’t think his insights give him special powers, he doesn’t appear to be paranoid (he has some conspiracy theories, but they don’t appear to be personal: he’s not wearing tinfoil to block the mindcontrol rays, or convinced his neighbors are NSA agents. He’s just a jerk YEC who thinks he can provide a scientific basis for his religious beliefs. ---

I’m guessing he’s eventually going to explain the DaVinci Code is merely a cover, because Jesus was jamming to Hendrix, and took Mary Magadelen to _Electric Lady Land_, or well, he was until he caught a Ric Flair promo and decided to let her ride “Space Mountain” instead. I think he’s one of the first I’ve seen around here who has managed to survive as long as he has. I like a good nut as much as the next guy, as long as they’re entertaining. But I get the distinct impression with this one that any kind of engagement is just asking to get my chain yanked. ---

On the other hand, he seems to truly believe what he is posting and as long as he does not violate explicit rules, we’re not going to ban him just for fun. He is pretty easy to avoid, so he is not yet disruptive (except to those who cannot resist scratching their poison ivy). Flagrant rules violations or increasingly disruptive behavior will get him sent packing. He has not yet crossed that line. ---
