That was my experience at the previous house, when a vehicle was parked in front of my house for days. IIRC it wasn’t a no-parking zone but overnight parking on the street was prohibited. I reported it to the city. They wouldn’t tow it right away but did come around to ticket it, and said they would tow it if it was still there some days later. The owner eventually moved it.
