For me to vote for another Republican, it is going to have to be someone who “voted with Trump less than 50% of the time”. That’s a bare minimum. Better would be “voted with Trump less than 5% of the time”.
I’ve voted for two Democrats in my life. Usually it is about half Republicans and half Libertarians. From now on in non-local races it is more likely to be Libertarian with possibly one or more Democrats.
If the Republicans should become Conservative again, then I will seroiusly consider voting for Republicans again. But as long as they are radical far right, not a chance.
If he did not care about losing in November, he would not have been pushing all of the redistricting. He even said that if he loses Congress, he will be impeached again.
Some people just love to complain. There is a slim possibility that when all the votes in California’s primary have been counted, el donald’s favorite, one of the republicans, could slip into third place and not appear on the November ballot. The federal investigation of fraud just found its excuse to get started.
Maybe he is trying to prove that they are that easy to rig by attempting to do so.
I can’t imagine that his wanting to make it harder for people to register to vote and to vote is not about rigging the election.
If he can’t rig the election this year, I suspect that there is likely to be a Democrat House and a Democrat Senate. Rigging the election is all the chance he has.
He will absolutely need to figure it out before his “fourth” term in 2028, which he publicly, repeatedly declared his intention to seek today. He even has merchandise already. I do not buy for a second that this humorless man was joking. A third (or fourth, since Biden “stole” a term from him) term is Constitutionally forbidden so the one and only way to make it happen is to rig an election.
However, given his poor health, it is likely he will not live that long. But if he does, we know what his plans are. It makes sense to see what he can get away with right now because he’s going to need as much of that as he can get when he violates the Constitution as if it was a teenage girl and then says she was asking for it.
