I may have posted this before, but in Memphis, TN, there is rather long overpass where Union Avenue turns into Walnut Grove Road going over railroad switch yards. There is an exit ramp on the overpass for “Flicker St”, which in itself is not that odd. What is interesting is that all of the exit signs are written in ALL CAPS. I guess “FLICKER ST” got complaints from people blending the “LI” into a single letter. ---

My frequent travels are sometimes seen as cause for alarm by employees at firms with which I do business sporadically. They get concerned that I may be unavailable to sign contracts when it’s convenient for them. I tend to do repeat business with firms who recognize that it’s significant that my wife has my power of attorney, and she can sign if I can’t. ---
