If it is legal to scan the picture in and put it up online, someone please do so and link to it. It’d be cool.
I would think that killing whales with sonar might be a military application – if whales were our enemies. Protecting them? That seems more… civilian.
I found the pic last night. It’s in the issue where the cover is about weather gone wild, a dusty tornado winding through (I believe) Texas.
Of course I held it up for the wife, pointed to one of the blurry figures staring down into the tank and said “I know this guy.”
