…that dead people should either be cremated or turned into Soylent Green, and then we could turn all the cemetaries into housing for the homeless, who would eat Soylent Green. (But we’d tell them it was really made out of seafood or something.) ---

The title of the book was a reference to a poem by William D’Avenant called “Wake All the Dead.” The poem ends, “In every grave, make room, make room/The world’s at an end, and we come, we come!” Except D’Avenant was talking about Judgment Day, of course. Catrandom ---
