Only the ninth time an asteroid/meteoroid has been discovered by radar before it hit, there are a few good videos of it. I have looked at many of them, how cool is it that we finally have the tech to be able to do this! Is it coincidence that the Philippines are in the South Pacific? Like where Cluthlu lies slumbering? You tell me! ---

Per wiki, it’s in the western Pacific, not southern. I think all of it lies above the equator. Added: looks like the southernmost\* part of the Philippines lies 5° or 6° north of the equator. \* — the islands of Mindanao and Tawi-Tawi. ---

Cthulhu is bigger than you imagine, it could drive you mad if you ever think of it long enough. And the asteroid? Cool! Next they will work out how to redirect them, next thing you know, someone will use them as a weapon. Like the cornfielded hurricane, but more suddenly and unexpected.
