I agree that the fact that she hasn’t posted at all - regardless of this thread - since the 23rd is a little unusual. I did a quick scan through her recent posting activity, and she has been pretty prolific lately. A nearly week-long absence seems to be unusual. Likely, we’ll all find out we’re being worry-worts but I’d rather be accused of being a ninny than be blase. ---

Remember also, those Kiwi’s are 13 hours ahead of us Eastern Standard Time Zone Peoples. So it is 1030am Tuesday there. she might actually have a job or something. I remain cautiously optimistic. 🙂 ---

I am worried. I’m not a mom, but I feel like one right now. When I see her, I’m gonna smack her lovingly upside the head and say, “What were you thinking? We were all so worried!” I hope the mods have some magical powers and can do something to see if she’s ok. If Calm Kiwi participated in any of the post card/secret santa’s in the past, maybe the person in charge of exchanging addresses could forward information to a mod. ---

As I said in Post #87, I have **calm kiwi** ’s email address from the mug exchange. The bad news is that I’ve sent her three progressively more panicky emails in the past week, and I have not gotten any response. If we get desperately worried, I also have her street address, so we could send **MelCtheFirst** over to check on her. ---

It’s somewhat disconcerting when a member who _rarely_ goes more than a day or two without posting goes of the radar for a week after making her last post on the day that she’s told us she’s agreed to meet a stranger for coffee, though. Maybe I wouldn’t be so anxious if _I_ had a life, but there it is. I’m doing drywall repairs today, and keep washing the dust off my hands to pop back in and see if she’s turned up yet. I thought it was understood that when a person signs on to the SDMB and pays the fee that all facets of the previous life cease to exist. Obviously **CalmKiwi** did not read the small print. In Other News, if she is laying in a pool of blood, I owe her some maple syrup. ( 🙂 ) ---
