Pretty much anything you do in a parking lot needs extra attention. Pull forward into a spot? Need extra attention backing out. Backing in? Extra attention. Pull through? Extra attention. Just cruising around looking for a good spot? Extra attention.

Especially with all the morons who zip through parking lots like they’re roads. Pedestrians? Shopping carts? Other traffic? Duuurrrrrr.

My car was demolished by a drunk/high driver who slammed into it in the parking lot at the library. He drove off going the wrong way down a one way street and ran into another vehicle. Claimed not to have been at the library until they showed him the film. Folks don’t realize that these days when you are outside you are odds on on camera.
