I’m acquainted with several parking lots in this area that have them gratuitously blocking those who prefer to pull through so we can exit going forward (I HATE backing up, since my 2016 car lacks backup camera). ---

I don’t generally find any noticeable obstructions other than the cars next to me. Backing up, my vision’s obstructed by cars, probably on both sides, until my side windows clear them. When pulling forward: You don’t need all of that, because you have your eyes. Forward visibility is better than rear visibility. Do you drive down the freeway in reverse? ---
