“Alot” and “everyday” in place of “a lot” and “every day” have really been getting up my butt lately. I know “everyday” is a legitimate word, but I only ever see it used inappropriately. ---

Sometimes it is hard to tell a misspelling from someone using what they think is the right word but I guess the point is mute. ---

I hate when I find that a spelling or grammar mistake has **snuck** past an editor… Yeah, I know the whole sneaked/snuck thing is a lost battle, but dammit, _I hate “snuck”_. ---

I definately misspell many words consistantly. COngratulations is another one I goof up. I also get typing and hold the shift key 1 second too long. I use to misspell environmental. I relie on [iespell](http://www.iespell.com/) utility to check for spelling mistakes. I have actually found my overall spelling and grammar improving over the last year typing away on this message board where people get picky. Most are nice about it and couch it in a joke. “Pizzaria.” It’s ruining my life! AARGH! Well, not really, but still it bugs me when a pizzeria misspells itself. Though actually, try to find an eatery that _hasn’t_ misspelled something on its menu. It’s a longish search, let me tell you. ---
