There's something rotten in...well, everywhere

This M&P forum.
I was NOT officially requesting a cite.

Inflation happens. For a multitude of reasons. I’m not an economics expert. Can’t tell you why.
What has happened in Bidens term of office is inextricably linked to the mistakes and missteps of the previous administration. I know that much.

This is not P&E. But I will say Trump was a disaster and I think he has caused a mind-shift in America that has made people angry, families have disintegrated, friendships have turned into hate filled acquaintances.
I had a personal experience with it. So I know it happens. I blame Trump directly, for that.

I do not want a contentious back and forth with you @rowrrbazzle . So we’ll stop it here.

Are you suggesting that gas prices went up on the first day of Biden’s term?

That’s not something I remember.

Bat Masterson, gunfighter turned newspaper columnist (not an illogical career progression) died at his desk as he typed these words:

“There are those who argue that everything breaks even in this old dump of a world of ours. I suppose these ginks who argue that way hold that because the rich man gets ice in the summer and the poor man gets it in the winter things are breaking even for both. Maybe so, but I’ll swear I can’t see it that way.”

So the truth will set you…six feet under?

(Your post led me to look up the guy. Of course I’d heard of him, but I didn’t recall the details–what a life!)

Perhaps you will be interested in this chart, where it shows that on Trump’s last day in offic gas prices were already rising fast:
