It’s cruel, but cool at the same time. I want one now but couldn’t bring myself to dye the poor dogs hair. Genetic reseach must be done! I want my Panda dog!

There was no mention of it in the article, so I’m wondering if the panda population is declining even further, and that is the reason they can’t get the real ones. I know panda reproduction is problematic. It’s hard getting them to breed so, as I understand it, they are an endangered species.

It’s hard getting them to breed _in captivity_. I believe they are endangered because their environment is being constantly encroached by humans and development, and they are not very adaptable to change.

Dog breeders gonna go crazy for sure now.
I could see Pomeranians, Poodles, Chows, Pekes, all those Doodle dogs.
It will be a race to get dogs who have Panda colors.
I wonder what that stupid Zoo was thinking?

If you want something panda-esque, you could get a panda bear hamster, or for those with bigger needs, a panda bear cow.
