Miss Peregrine’s School For Peculiar Children was about a Xavier-type school, not a haunted house. It’s probably a reference to Bates’ being a regular on American Horror Story, which has had haunted houses in multiple seasons (including two of the ones Bates was in…well, one was a hotel, but…). Or it could just be a reference to haunted houses in general, and they just scored Bates as a coincidence. ---

Doesn’t give me the greatest feeling about Turbo Tax… ---

The Trivago guy is the first thing that came to mind when I read “creepy commercial”. I don’t quite know what it is about him, but we had a whole thread on his skeeviness, so it’s not just me.
