My paternal grandfather was 86 when he started to lose his memory. He’d sure seen a lot since 1909.
My maternal grandmother told about learning to drive from Barney Oldfield, because he was dating a girl in her area. That’s one of my favorites. Her dad was the first one around there to buy a car. She saw technological advances until 2001.
