Why is this thread title referring to Rush? That line is from [Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cover_of_Rolling_Stone). Well, twice as many copies as in the song but still. ---

About time. They have to be the longest-lived, best-known, best-selling rock band ever to go this long without being on the cover of _RS_. I can’t think of another that would even be close. ---

At least one of their writers made them pretty relevant fairly recently. Also, the line in the song is “Gonna buy 5 copies for my mother”. **Elfkin477** correctly specified 10 copies as being twice the amount mentioned in the song. ---

FWIW, I got it immediately and don’t care if you did double the number of copies, it was a cute title and totally appropo.
