You know, on the subject of fighting ignorance, and all, I wonder if NASA ever published the data from the dosimeters or film badges worn by the various Apollo astronauts. This is NASA, and there is a nearly one hundred percent chance that every single astronaut who ever lifted off (and probably a whole lot of the ones who never left the ground, too!) wore some sort of recording dosimeter. Why futz around with mathematical calculations of orbital speed and average flux density? We have this information on file, somewhere. While it would be easily dismissable by the whaco contingent, that doesn’t really matter to me. I would like to check the math of the theoretical dose projections, and the actual data seems like the best way to do it. Anyone have an idea where such information might be obtained without a freedom of information lawsuit? ---

On the other hand… If they are re-running this turkey a month after the initial show, how hard pressed are they for programs ? Maybe there is hope and the **F** hony **O** bno **X** ious network will get off the air ? Aren’t there standards against intellectual pollution ? Just a thought I felt sharing. ---

FOX doesn’t really care if anyone believes what’s in the show as long as we watch and buy whatever is advertised. Boycotting the sponsors and low ratings are the only things that get their attention. ---

If I had a nickel for every nutcase who claimed to have “irrefutable proof” that the moon landing(or whatever other issue-of-the-moment) never really occurred, well, I’d have one great big sackfull of nickels. Here’s the silver lining:While these nimrods are sitting glued to their tubes polishing their surplus AK-47’s and organizing their Art Bell tapes, they’re probably not breeding, right? So hopefully we have only one or two more generations to worry about. I didn’t see this show the first time, so I made sure to watch it this time around. All I can say is that they seem awfully credulous for people claiming to be debunking a hoax. I sure hope they haven’t spawned. ---

I am surrounded at work with people who are totally convinced that we never went to the moon, thanks to FOX. I just can’t take the stupidity anymore. Moron quote of the day (so far): “Well, if we really went to the moon, why are we watching shows that tell us we didn’t?” My response: Look, we go into space, and went to the moon. Where do you think TANG came from? Next week… “The Moon’s Greatest Lunar Vehicle Chases”…only on FOX. ---

On top of this moon landing crap going 'round the office, the “-gry” puzzle is making it around too. I am honestly telling people that Tang came as a result of research done on the lunar surface with fine crystals in low gravity. Hey…keeps the drones busy. Cecil, me pal, ignorance is winning. ---
