Wait a tic. I like Eric Cantona. I thought he was a hell of a player – from what I could watch of him from accross the pond – but … “… a player with true footballing class …” Didn’t my man Eric the Red leap into the stands and lay a drop kick on an old lady after getting thrown out of a match once? ---

As a Revs fan, I think this is a _good_ thing. I don’t expect Henry to set the MLS world on fire, but he’ll get his goals and provide a bit of excitement. And if the Red Bulls come in and knock the stuffing out of the Revs, maybe, just maybe, it’ll make the Revs’ front office go, “Hey, wait a minute!” I mean, maybe. There’s a chance, right? ---

It’s shaping up to look like we’ll see Donovan, Beckham, and Ronaldinho vs Angel, Henry, and Marquez at some point in the near future.
