I’ve been hoping some lady would say “having a job” or “trimming his ear hair”, but alas… Trimming your own ear hair is really hard. Those electric clippers don’t work and it’s almost impossible to get the little scissors lined up right while trying to look at your own profile in a mirror. ---

On dating sites, I used to see a lot of guys with pictures of them and different women (typically in bars). I’m not sure what I’m supposed to make of them. Once I saw a picture of a guy who uses his wedding picture! Her body was cropped but it was obvious… Including the wedding ring he was wearing! ---

The reason (I assume) they are doing that is all men know that you get more attention when you have women around with you that obviously like you. I assume this is a subconscious heuristic applied by women on the basis that any man who never associates with women is probably being avoided for a reason, but maybe it’s conscious, I dunno. Your input is both welcome and appreciated if you wish to enlighten us. Anyway I expect they’re taking that to extremes and thinking it’s a great idea to show them with as many women as possible giving them the seal of approval. I might be wrong! (It actually didn’t occur to me that there would be anything _wrong_ with this until you mentioned it. Apart from the wedding thing obv) ---

There is no logical/reasonable explanation for a why a grown man would live with his mother that doesn’t involve him being a deadbeat. I was lucky enough to meet a wonderful woman who didn’t and eventually came to live with us and helped me care for her. I am even luckier now to call her my wife. ---
