Things people buy and end up not using.

Really? I was just familiar with the concrete ones, but here in the upper Midwest, very few people have in-ground pools. Makes sense, with all the freezing and thawing.

Another thing people buy and probably don’t use is some variation of a Vegetti maker - one of those gadgets that turns zucchini, carrots, squash, etc. into noodles.

Thats similar to my friends. Now, if they can just back a big dumptruck up to your pool and just dump it out - well thats cheap. But in their case it would be basically one wheelbarrow load after another to navigate the path from the street to the pool.

No, you need to become a rock star with it… or at least take it to church!

By the way, when we got married, we said No Gifts… which apparently is some kind of Lutheran code for “Load these lovebirds up with gadgets!” We got four coffee bean grinders, three cheap pasta machines, two electric whisks (?), two Mr. Coffees, and three underpowered Dustbusters.
We kept one of the grinders.

A Boomerang.

I keep trying to throw the damn thing away but it keeps coming back to me.
