I’ve been thinking about things you can say that will make you feel better or at least provide some pleasure just by virtue of them being fun to say. I came up with this one, which most scientifically informed people will enjoy saying: “I don’t work at FermiLab. I work at CERN.” If you know what those are, try it. It will make you feel good. I also realized that conservative positions are more fun to state than liberal positions. For example, try saying this - don’t believe it, just say it: “Overpopulation is a bunch of pretentious liberal rhetoric.” Wasn’t that a breeze? * * * What sort of fun things do you know of that one can say? ---

I’ve found that it’s fun to replace words with strange descriptions of the thing in question. It’s hard to explain, so here’s an illustration: Instead of “cannon” you could say “big shooty gun ish… thing…” ---
