Some affectations only work in books. I can’t quite imagine what a Wunderland beard would look like, but what I see in my head is pretty stupid looking,
I laugh at how much Niven tries to describe the rugged individualists betlers and their “but everyone MUST have one” “Belter cut” - which is a Mohawk.

When I watched “Dune” I realized how silly the idea that someone could misunderstand “Tell me of your homeworld, Usul” if it were spoken.

I wish I could have seen the deleted scenes from _Down Periscope_ as Howard, Chief Engineer of _Stingray_ apparently had some sort of backstory meant to have been shown, maybe a retired Engineer brought back as a contractor?

I bet it drove @Loach crazy, too. They repeated episode premises all the time. There was often the new Darren version and the old one, or the one with Tabitha and the one with Adam.
But even more glaring was the recycling of jokes, and not in self-referential way. they’d just the same joke, setup and everything, wholesale. I even caught one time they did it in the very next episode (at least, if the order I had them in was correct).
That very much is not a show where you want to binge. I ultimately didn’t even make it through the last season due to the repeats.
That M\*A\*S\*H had a premise repeat but with a different outcome sounds absolutely refreshing by comparison.
I typed that by typing “`M\*A\*S\*H`”, if you didn’t know.

However, when Samantha and her alter ego discovered mini-skirts, my young self was very happy.

_ **Bewitched** _ was already in severe decline long before Dick York had to quit. They should have ended the series much earlier and gone out on a relatively high note.
