# Things that infuriate you well beyond their actual importance

This was discussed here recently in [another thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/can-cling-wrap-kitchen-cling-wrap-lose-effectiveness-over-time/998939). Saran Wrap changed their formulation in 2004 from polyvinyl chloride to polyethylene for environmental reasons. Polyethylene doesn’t cling as well as PVC. I find that [Freeze-Tite](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LO2IBD6) works well.
