When I bumped into my 2nd grade teacher at the “Y” when I 1st joined, I realized I had been out of the school for 20 years! My 15th HS reunion would be this year. Now get off my lawn! 😃 ---

I was the class of 1988 and helped to organize our 20th in 2008. That was the point I first felt really old. Oh, and the time a few years ago I went to see Boston in concert and my 19yr old next door neighbor kept asking me “You went to Boston to see who in concert?”… ---

A friend just sent me a paperback of a book I remember having read just a few years ago, when it first came out. I checked the copyright page; it was published in 1993. Almost 20 years ago. Gah! ---

When the kids at the middle school I work at have 80’s days and I look at how they’re dressed and mentally make the corrections: wrong colors, wrong lengths, that sweater is NOT Guess or Bennetton, the mall bangs are not tall enough! ---
