**Kathy Lee Gifford**. Am I the only person who likes her? She seems like a fun person to have as company. I like a woman who does most of the talking. **tofu** , the great chameleon of proteins. It tastes like whatever you cook it with. The better the sauce, the better the tofu. **Spam**. The pork shoulder and ham product, not the unwanted e-mail advertisements. It’s very handy to keep on the shelf when you want to make a stir fry. And no, it does not contain pork by-products. Just shoulder and ham. **Moog synthesizer music**. All those Switched on Bach albums and Chopin a la Moog. **Seventies haircuts**. I look at footage of young people at rock concerts in the 1970s, and I grow misty-eyed. You could have a bad hair day every day of that decade, and nobody would have noticed. What a relief that must have been. ---

Avacados, spinich, artichokes, asparagus, squash, okra(fried, none of that slimey stuff for me). A few N Sync songs. Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, The Captain and Tenille, The Carpenters, lots of disco music(the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack rocks). Meet Joe Black, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, 8 MM The Crocodile Hunter Tequila. I rarely drink, and that may be why I still like it, but most people I know swore it off years ago. Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals. If nothing else, I can point out the huge value of some of the CDS I’ve collected. Salted watermelon. And I eat kiwi’s like apples, complete with skin. Overcast, rainy, thunderstorms, snow–all “bad” weather. I love it. Walking. I walk everywhere, and actually take walks. ---
