> Me too. If you look up a picture of Michael Jackson as a kid (before all the cosmetic alterations) it becomes plainly obvious that none of his kids bear even the slightest resemblance to him. Heck, one or two of them are white. Not just light-skinned, but white. I’d love to know what the biological parentage of those children is.

I agree! And I think it’s absolutely mind-boggling that this information was never leaked to the media. I mean, the youngest kid certainly had some sort of documentation, an adoption or legal papers regarding the surrogacy. Now it’s been nearly 10 years and STILL nobody has talked? Lord knows every other Tom, Dick & Harry that ever delivered MJ a newspaper has long since sold their story, but none of the lawyers, doctors, surrrogate parents, sperm donors, etc, involved in getting Michael’s third kid to him have ever squealed.

As for his oldest son, I still think there’s a slim chance (very slim!) he might actually be a Jackson biologically. Not too long ago some rag printed a picture of Prince on the beach, and he had a large, obvious vitiligo spot on him. Makes you say “Hmm.” Also, there’s something of MJ around his eyes. Of course, if he DOES actually have Jackson’s genes, he’s officially the whitest biracial kid I’ve ever seen.

They don’t look 100% white to me. They have olive skin coloring that most white people lack.

That said, they don’t like they’re of direct Jackson descent. That family has some strong inheritable features. Jermaine, Latoya, Michael, Janet, et al. all of them are just variations on the same theme. I’d expect this theme to show up in these kids somewhere, but it’s noticeably absent.

I know several people who are constantly complain about how broke they are, and yet they never spend any money. One in particular, lived in her grandmother’s paid-for house, worked a better paying job than mine but never, ever admitted to having any discretionary income at all. Where did all her pay go? To college debt? Hookers and blow? Supporting third world orphans? Trapped in the world’s most expensive cell phone contract? I have no idea.

I know of a person who keeps having children, some of whom could be her husband’s, but others who clearly aren’t. I want to know the paternity of the ‘possibles.’ I also want to know why the husband is seemingly happy with this set up.

There’s another woman who’s dating guy, who as far as I can tell, has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I’d love to know what she sees in him. Someone else said the same thing awhile ago, so I’m not the only person who’s at a loss.

I don’t speak to my brother, but if I did, I would ask him: how have you received unemployment for 5 years? It’s not enough to cover your booze and cigarette bills, so how do you live? And how many mortgages/home equity loans do you have? And how much have you defaulted on your credit cards that you have a judgment against you?

Regarding the OP: I’ve been good friends with a guy from my residency program for fifteen years or so, and I have no idea whether he’s attracted to men, women, both, or neither. (Obviously, he’s been single the entire time I’ve known him.)

I’d like to know what caused my co-worker’s deformity. My guess is Thalidomide - as the time frame would be right for her age - but the deformit(ies) don’t fit the traditional manifestations (if there is such a thing). But it truly isn’t any of my “Mollyfocking” (love that term) business, so I’ll never know.

I’d also like to know what became of my class mate who disappeared on a bike ride in 1978, but this the wrong thread - no one knows except the fiend who kept her from getting home.

Weird. Sounds lame, but maybe he realized he left the oven or something? Almost the same thing happened to me once in a job interview. Everything going fine, then the cut-off. Unfortunately, it’s not unusual for me to eff something up in interviews or social situations…

I’d like to know what happened at the broadcasting school my ex-husband attended. He never finished it, and he always refused to tell me what happened there.

Definitely attractive! Not shabby at all. I get the feeling, she’s going either to work or to some kind of training.. .
What little I can see of her face looks quite attractive too. I guess she’s maybe in her late twenties.
Unfortunately I can never tell if she looks at me (she looks in my direction but she’s wearing those black glasses…) or I’d already have waved at her in greeting or something… . :o

No, sadly. She was riding on a lonelier stretch of a two-lane road from our town to the next town (about 3 miles away) where she lived. She just vanished, bike and all. Of course there was lots of speculation - but nary a trace found.

I’ve known a guy like that–complained constantly about the cost of everything and how it was completely unacceptable how little money he had. He lived like that too–his house was small and almost entirely unfurnished.

Turns out, when you’re a misogynist, perfectionist miser, those hookers do NOT come cheap. How do I know it was expensive hookers? He’d book two-double-beds suites for business trips, and then kick the other guy (his employee!) out to the hotel bar for a few hours. Every night.

[li]The great mystery in life for me is how those small businesses make it, how they stay in business. My sister said something once that I thought was brilliant: for some people, spending money makes them feel affluent. For others, spending money makes them feel poor. If you are one of the former, you tend to accumulate debt (because new spending makes your debt seem LESS problematic) and if you are one of the latter, you tend to accumulate savings and complain a lot.

I’d like to know how much my students cheat, and how they do it. It is my business, I suppose, but I’ll never really know.

My roommate has mentioned she has an adoptive mother. I want to know what happened to her real mother. NoMB of course!

I want to know why the guy who sits in the cubicle adjacent to me is working this job when he has a bachelor’s in business and is eminently employable. Serious case of underemployment there.

I want to know why the guy who used to sit behind my desk doesn’t work here anymore. Don’t know if he was fired or quit or what. He was here longer than me, but one of those private quiet types who didn’t have any office acquaintances. I actually asked him out for coffee via post-it (don’t laugh ok) to try to get to know him, he seemed like the type who needs friends and I’m definitely that type as well (plus I like the shy types and he had a nice voice). He declined (nicely) via return post-it. And he ended up leaving and I never knew why! le sad

I don’t know, but they look an awful lot like Arnold Kline, his dermatologist. I saw him on Larry King shortly after Michael died, and either King or a caller asked him straight up if it was possible that he was the father. I don’t remember the exact answer he gave, but he didn’t deny it.

I have a couple of coworkers who used to be BFFs for years (they knew each other and their families long before either began working here). A couple of years ago, seemingly overnight, they couldn’t stand each other anymore. I mean, it is clearly ugly. One seems proactively angry, while the other is more like, “Whatever with her.”

I tend to stay away from work gossip, but in this case, I really, really want to know what the hell happened between them (especially since I’m not a big fan of one of them, and the petty side of me just wants more fodder for disliking her). But there just isn’t any justification for asking. Life’s great mysteries.

Also, I want to know what is truly going on in the heads of Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds with regard to steroids use. I assume they’re both guilty of it, and as such, I’d like to have honest, unfiltered insight into the justification they use in their own heads. And on the off chance that they really are innocent, I’d like to know what it feels like for them to have absolutely zero chance of changing the public’s perception of them, regardless of the outcome of their cases.

Similarly, I’d like to know what goes on in the head of OJ Simpson.

There is a house down the street from me where the people have put removable spikes in their driveway to block their cars in (or block others’ out). They have to move them every single time they leave and they’ve been there now for easily almost a year. I’d like to know why they put them up and what purpose they are supposed to serve in general.
