I was just making a small joke based on a funny picture which has turned into an internet meme.

Well at least the bit about his girlfriend indicates that he’s not gay.

I googled the meme though and it is funny (the pictures he’s been photoshopped into). I suspect he’s not actually sad though (the girlfriend/daughter bit is tragic, but all that happened over 10 years ago), he looked like he was just eating.

Umm…I wonder a lot of things that are none of my business. I wonder why my roommates seem to never go to work.

My mother has said that something very bad happened to her during her senior year of high school which caused her to drop out of school. She got her GED the following year. I’m almost certain that she was raped, but I’d never ever ask because she quite clearly doesn’t want to talk about it but I feel like I want to tell her that it wasn’t her fault, which, knowing my grandparents and mom’s sisters, no one likely told her at the time.

Used everything except a quarterstaff, uh? 🙂
Remembered something else: I’d like to know whether a certain former classmate of mine is gay - and I’d love a chance to meet the spouses of former classmates I haven’t (maybe half the class married each other or their HS SOs, those who didn’t are still getting married for the first time now and we’re in our 40s). I’d also like to know how can anybody miss on several other classmates being gay - by the time I notice someone may be gay, it means he’s a blasting flamethrower, and I was absolutely not surprised when these two got married to dudes.

There’s a cashier at a grocery store that I frequent, and something about her tells me that at one time, her previous profession included a pole. I’d like to know.

I’d like to know where my sister’s nearly million $ inheritance went to. She was favoured in my grandmother’s Will. My brother got 1/2 million and my other sister and I got 100k each.

Naw, we don’t have any issues at all.

But how do you spend that money and go from 2 homes and a cottage to a rented house, an old beater car and little else to show . . . in less than 20 years? She doesn’t drink, gamble - or seem to know about concepts like hookers and blow . . .

This is sort of my business, but the parties are dead, so no way I’m going to get answers. My biological Mom was 18 (I think) when she got pregnant by an older married man. After he died several years ago, I found out he had been married nine times. Excuse me? And apparently there was some Amish woman that wasn’t listed, but was one of the wives, and there were also rumors of Korean and Vietnamese women involved. He was Coast Guard and Merchant Marine. so apparently he tried to live up to the old ‘Got a woman in every port’. Am I related to half the world? My adoptive mother is one of those who takes secrets to the grave, and my biological mother is dead, also. Wish I’d asked more questions earlier in life.

ALong these lines, I want to know if my father-in-law did in fact commit suicide (apparently a number of his pills were missing but I never heard the final coroner’s report). And if he did, what was going through his head that day? My mother-in-law says that he was fine that morning, smiling and playing his guitar for the first time in ages. I have the uneasy feeling that would be because his mind was already made up the deed was already done. It’s been 3 years now, and if my husband knows the answer, he’ll never, ever volunteer the info. I wouldn’t dream of asking my MiL, so I guess I’ll never know.

So, my Ex’s Grandfather was left by his Mother to be raised by his Grandparents. His Mother ran off to New York where she basically drank herself to death, with all the sleazy trimmings that go along with such lives. I suspect that his Father was his Grandfather, if you know what I mean.

That whole family has some sort of curse attached, and every male I’ve met (three generations worth) is _Personality Disorder_ level sick.

I’d love to know the full story. I’m also afraid that if I found out I would never stop puking.

A friend of mine hurt me very, very badly about a decade ago. Whenever the subject has come up (which is rarely), she deflects and says she has no idea why she did it. It was a deliberate act, and I really wonder… What the hell happened?

On a side note, my late grandfather was a very observant conservative Jew. He’d grown up in Europe, and apparently at one point got expelled from a yeshiva. Occasionally my folks or my uncle would ask what had happened to cause that, and he would refuse to talk about it. Finally, about a month before he died, he came clean about it. (It turns out there was a … Shall we say, ‘physically aggressive’ teacher… Whom he and his friend ambushed outside the school and beat the hell out of in retaliation.)

20 years? You know, money kinda… leaves. One spends it, and, unless they have a job to replenish it, they have less money. Sometimes no money.

My parents were married in May 1974, I was born in July 1974. Yeah, shotgun wedding. They were both Catholic, and my mom was visibly pregnant at their wedding which was a traditional Catholic mass.

It is definitely something that is NEVER talked about in my family. When we talk about birthdays and anniversaries it’s the huge pink elephant in the room. Their wedding album is kept in a closet, NEVER kept out with the other family photos.

They are obviously aware that I know about this, but we’ve never talked about it. I’d love to know what they went through, what their families said, how my mom felt as a young woman in the early 70’s from a traditional Catholic family getting pregnant out of wedlock then going through with the wedding. I don’t even know how long they were dating before she got pregnant.

None of my business, however.

My parent’s wedding day:12/6/69
My brother’s DOB:5/26/70

They’ve never denied it, though I was 12ish before consciously doing the math. (BTW, we’re American Catholics, and my dad’s cousin (a priest) did the ceremony)

Mostly as a few other posters have said, about what the women around me look like naked. I’m not really interested from a sex point of view, just more about what their bodies look like, how they trim or shave themselves, tan lines…that sort of thing.

Although there is one coworker that I wonder if she is a lesbian. Not because she plays field hockey, or because she went to an all girls school. But more because in the 2 years we’ve been working together (including several business trips together), she has never once mentioned anyone she’s dating, or dated in the past. She’s only around 27 or 28, so you’d think in that period of time I’d have heard at least one ‘crazy ex’ story.
