yay, **'tashii**! šŸ™‚ Cloud Maiden is leaving for the holidays tomorrow. I have the house to myself for almost a month. With two cats. Itā€™s going to be weird. I donā€™t really like living by myself. On the other hand, itā€™ll be nice to able to walk around in my underwear. šŸ˜› (I do this when Iā€™m alone, but since Cloud Maiden works from home such moments have been rare.) ETA: Awwwww! Yeah, itā€™s a drive by, my back is having spasms and I canā€™t sit in this chair for very long at a time. If itā€™s not one thing, itā€™s anotherā€¦ Great OP **boofae**! Las Vegas is not at the top of my places that I want to visit, but it is on the list. I want to stay at the Bellagio, look at pretty things, eat fabulous food, attend shows, and watch the fountains and the light shows. Iā€™m glad that you had a good vacation. (Holiday?) **BBBobbio** please add me as one of your admirers, you are one of the good guys! I need to share my granddaughter in her Christmas outfit , which took me months to find online. My daughter said NO red, NO velvet, and NO plaid, so I asked her what she wanted for Teaā€™s dress, and she said ā€œGoldā€. And so gold is what she received. I think I am only gonna spoil her a little bit. Of course I will spoil my granddaughter moreā€¦lol!!! I just had my performance development review with Tin Knickers. Turns out she doesnā€™t like my email out of office message 'cos itā€™s not friendly enough, and is definitely concerned about the fact that Iā€™m not bothered about it. My message says Iā€™m not in the office until whatever date, and emails will be read when I return. What more does she wants? Have a nice day? Bah! **Rigs** - it was a totally different environment from the UK and I know some people had trouble adjusting to it. Iā€™ve been to the US many times so Iā€™m more used to the way things are, but Vegas seems to be a planet unto itself. 'im indoors has finally realised that itā€™s true when Iā€™ve told him heā€™d never survive in the US outside a major city if he couldnā€™t drive. He didnā€™t believe me before, but he knows now that itā€™s true. The best part? Coming home to a proper cup of tea! ---

Glad the first day of the new job went well, **snowbunny**! Those sentences are truly painful, **SC**. (Do we have a nickname for you yet? My brain is not awake enough to do more than initials.) Did they even read what they wrote? Seems like reading the sentences aloud would have prevented much of the pain. I used to have a list of bad translations from when I taught German. People can write the most unintentionally funny sentences when they havenā€™t studied enough! **BooFae** , why did she bother telling you this if she wasnā€™t going to tell you what she didnā€™t like or make a constructive suggestion. My standard out-of-office is very similar to yours. Only difference is that I add something like: ā€œIf you need an immediate response, please contact Tin Knickers.ā€ (Iā€™m sure sheā€™d be happy to respond to any urgent inquiries! :D) I didnā€™t get to bed quite as early as I wanted to, but once again slept all night. Yay! Iā€™ve eaten breakfast, need to make lunch (no, NOL), and generally get ready. Donā€™t wanna, but gotta. I really want it to be Firday. I think Iā€™m overdue for a day off. GT ---

Iā€™m not sure what my doctorā€™s position is on it, but I guess weā€™ll find out today when I email her some links from that website that I referred to earlier. Anyways, though, the drug does seem to be helpful for your standard, run of the mill depression. And thatā€™s what they are really looking for in the study. You know what? If the stupid frigging weather people are going to go all apoplectic about the approaching ā€˜ice stormā€™, and Iā€™m going to have to get up at 4 am to go driving around to check the roads, then the very least it could do is, I dunno, PRODUCE SOME DAMN ICE!!! Itā€™s raining here, in case anyone cares. We have school, and I have a morning full of meetings. And then, I promise you all, a VERY short afternoon. ---

Iā€™ll wrap it up tight in foil when itā€™s done and tomorrow Iā€™ll let it warm up slowly, all wrapped up, in the crock pot. MMMMMMMMā€¦ 'twill be good! Today I WILL rake leafs. Leafs is too a word!
