Me too, me too!

You should check out the Phillips Gallery in Washington DC. They have a room with 4 huge ones and you can get really lost in them and really close to them.

Plus they have an el Greco!

The stuffed head of a Velociraptor.

Or, failing that, a full sized reproduction of Picasso’s **Guernica** , in the dining room.

I’ve been thinking about continuing something that I already have done once. I have a huge bulletin board on my dining room wall that’s covered in teal blue burlap. I love that big block of color. I’ve been thinking about covering some other squares or rectangles with different textured fabrics in bold colors.

Also, my mother has a painting by a local artist that I’ve always admired. It’s very colorful and would probably work well with the squares of color I’m contemplating. She said lately that she may give it to me. In addition to that, I have an artist friend who is working on a 3D art piece for a large empty space on my living room wall. Before I know it, I’ll have more art than I know what to do with!

If I were able to afford the priceless…

[_Tuna Fishing_](http://www.home.sk/www/worker/images/dali/12.jpg) and [_The Hallucinogenic Toreador_](http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/eid/vol6no5/images/dali_fullb.jpg) by Salvador Dali.

[_The Garden of Earthly Delights_](http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/bosch/delight/) and [_The Extraction of the Stone (The Cure of Folly)_](http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth/bosch/stone.jpg) by Hieronymus Bosch.

[_The Eye of Silence_](http://cours.cegep-st-jerome.qc.ca/530-gjb-p.l/images/Ernst3.jpg) and [_Europe After the Rain_](http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~markpeters/studio/europe_after_rain.jpg) by Max Ernst.

And as for the slightly-less-than-priceless, a nice sword, and that poster of Frank Zappa sitting on the toilet (the [photograph](http://vinyl.freeyellow.com/zappa.jpg), not the illustration).
