# Things you don't "get" anymore

More like I never got it to begin with, but as I said back in this thread [Piercing: What's the attraction?](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/piercing-whats-the-attraction/13951), piercing never did anything for me.

One thing I don’t get anymore, although I’m aware that this is entirely on me, is that somewhere along the line I lost almost all interest in film and television.
