Oh hell, I forgot my biggest one. Physics. I love watching lectures by [Brian Cox](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Cox_(physicist)) and String Theory stuff by [Brian Greene](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Greene). I find the subjects just fascinating. So much so I decided to go back to school a year ago. I just dropped out. I did everything I could, but I’m just not cut out for it. It will have to stay a hobby because I’m not cut out for it being a career. ☹ ---

Dancing. I don’t think I’m terrible at it, I’m musical and I have rhythm - just that my portfolio of moves could probably do with some expansion and diversification. Still though, great fun. 🙂 ---

Soccer. I used to play a couple of nights a week with a bunch of guy buddies, all of whom were much bigger than I was (and much better soccer players than I was). I was basically good for getting people to trip over me, which meant I played defense. Of course, then I shattered my leg bones, which are currently held together with a plate and a bunch of screws, so I can’t play anymore. But I really miss the cameraderie of those days. ---

By my name you can see that I love jazz guitar, especially Bossa Nova. Maybe “suck” is too strong, but I’m no jazz master. A real jazz musician has little need for sheet music and moves fluidly through the changes making beautiful improvisations using arcane scales and awesome chord substitutions to totally spice up an ordinary tune. I used to think I was a decent video game player,especially first person shooters. Until I attempted to play HALO with my 11 year old nephew. Wow, did I get my ass handed to me. After about 1/3 of the way through I said do over since I was understanding how the game played now. I lost even worse the second time. Turns out he was taking it easy on me the first time. ---

I love swimming in the ocean; anywhere, really, but especially the ocean…it’s such a blast and a great workout battling the waves. I couldn’t be more comfortable in any body of water and I can tread water and keep myself afloat really well; however, I cannot swim a single legitimate stroke! I’ve had swimming lessons and had people try to teach me as I got older. When actually moving through the water, I do a sort of “frog” thing with my legs and “push” the water aside with my arms. I love being in the water, but I can’t “swim.” ---

Kids. I simply was never able to play with my daughter or my step kids in any meaningful way. I can’t pretend like kids are able to do. I like kids but dolls and roll playing just doesn’t work for me. I’m sure that I have come across as a boring father to my daughter but she still loves me and stays in touch with me. Things could be worse. Grand kids are something that I don’t want to think about. ---

I love Fps games and I love shooting people in the face but I am no longer the guy that logs into a server and people on the other team just leave cause they down want me kicking their asses for the next couple hours…now I am straight up middle of the pack with the occasional ass kicking round and the some times not so ass kicking round Kinda the same with Pool only worse, when I was young there was a table in my complex and I played just about every day. now I play a couple times a year at best. pretty frustrating knowing how to make the shot and just sucking to bad to actually do it but still fun. ---

Dancing. I **am** terrible at it. I am musical, play 4 instruments, including non-pedal harp, but putiing foot A together with note B is totally impossible for me. There’s a reason KatiRoo and Klutz start with the same letter. ---

I have terribly little stamina for swimming, so much so that I failed my high school swim test the first time despite having grown up swimming in Hawaii. I trained myself up from just 3 full laps a session to 8 (as opposed to an athletic person’s 20? 30? 50? I couldn’t even imagine swimming nonstop for half an hour). But it feels grrrreat!
