# Things you googled in innocence?

One time I googled John Kerry and got Herman Munster.

On a slight tangent on topic

I was responding to a phone call via email. The person was asking for contact information, phone number.

So as I am using the number keypad to key in the phone, I dont notice that the number keypad is actually upsidedown from the phone keypad. So instead of keying (example, I dont remember the number)

214-567-8127 (phone pad)

I Key

874-561-2781 (10 key pad)

It was a phone sex line and the person calling it was the wife of a Managing Partner at KPMG.

They werent happy with me.

Yeah…I got that too when I was looking for a recipe. Not okay when you have safe search on. What good is it?

Back in the early days of search engines, long before Google, I think I was using Netscape on a 300 baud modem. I wanted to see if I could find out the amp-hour capacity of triple A batteries, so searched on ‘AAA Batteries’. The very first site that came up was one selling vibrating panties.

My wife was charmed when I showed this to her.

I think Google has been on a mission to fix their image results because I just tried this and, even with safe search off, not a single non-classical nymph makes an appearance.

Back in my musicology days I did stuff with the Canadian University Music Society. I need to find their homepage, so I googled “Cums.” We pronounce it “cooms,” and I didn’t think, when googling it, about semen. :smack:
