Oh… how could I forget, I damaged my friend’s pool cue recently by hitting it (I thought I hit it rather gently) against the table and it somehow bent out of shape. Paid him back, of course. ---

Ha…! First thing I thought of when I saw the title was my playstation controller. Although I didn’t actually break it, I certainly loosened its screws after throwing it to the floor when playing Time Splitters 2. Poor controllers, they always seem to have player’s frustrations taken out on them. 🙂 ---

Picture of my ex after we split up - stamped on it in the frame and tore the picture. Ironically, we get on OK now, and the other day she said “there’s a picture you took of me that I really like, but it’s been damaged - I don’t know how. Is there any chance you could scan it in and fix it up in Photoshop?” !! ---

As a teenager, I once punched and broke the windshield of my car during an argument with a silly teenage girl. Yes, it was safety glass, so my hand didn’t go through it. It cost me twenty-five bucks to replace, and that was a lot of money way back then. ---

One time when I was about 10 and my little sis was eight, she made me really mad and I threw her hot pink plastic hairbrush on the ground. It broke, even though I didn’t mean for that to happen. I felt _really_ bad about it; it was her favorite brush. That’s pretty much it. I don’t have much of a temper. (She did, though. She was the E-vil Sister from Hell when we were little.) ---

In college my roomate decided to annoy me with a big plastic slinky. He continued after I told him to stop, so I snatched it up and broke it into about 10 pieces while staring him down. T’wasn’t a fun night. I also kicked in the side of a cheapo locking clothes chest. That was while trying, unsuccessfully, to fix the doors on my closet. ---

Lordy, I used to throw everything. The list is long, and includes: My keys, at my brother when he kept bugging me to take him to the damn store. He chucked 'em into the back field…to this day I don’t know where they are. A pair of ruby earrings my boyfriend gave me. I found out he was messing around, and, VERY pissed off, took them off and threw them into the bay. A glass of wine, into the face of a very determined and obnoxious drunk guy in some bar. A bottle of perfume, which had a boomerang effect…I had to smell the stuff for weeks afterward because the bottle shattered against the wall. Took forever to get it out of the carpet. Nowadays, I just throw my weight around. ---

I don’t lose my temper very often, but when I do, I lose it in a big way. After I lost my last job, I was trying to do online job searches, but my 'puter was not responding very well to my wireless keyboard. I finally threw it to the floor and stomped on it repeatedly. I had to get by for several months with a ten-dollar replacement keyboard and mouse that kept me tethered to the machine. Electronic gadgets shouldn’t mess with me when I’m depressed… ---

God, lots of things. Crockery, glasses, watches, phones, keyboards, lamps, radios… though I haven’t broken anything for a couple of years now. The most pathetic time was a few years ago. Hubby and I were bellowing at each other in the kitchen, he flings a bottle of wine which smashes against the wall. The nearest thing to hand was a loaf of bread, so I ripped it apart. Quite sad, but was actually quite satisfying at the time. Though I regretted it in the morning when I couldn’t have any toast. ---

When I was around 10 (I think), we got a call one day from my grandfather. I answered, took the message, and promptly forgot about it. That night, my father asked me if my grandfather had called. Turns out, my grandmother had had a stroke. I felt so guilty about not remembering the message that I went outside and took one of my soccer trophies (first place one, I believe), and threw it on the driveway. One of its hands broke off. I don’t know if I ever told my parents how it happened - but the trophy, sans hand, stayed in our trophy case. Susan ---

Slammed the door when I was a teenager and the window shattered. Didn’t mean to do it though. Still, that’ll teach my parents to force me to cut the grass! I can’t think of a single time when I’ve deliberately broken something when angry.
