It’s not my current place, does that count? A friend and I once rented a sparsely-furnished house. It had a couch, two living room chairs, a wardrobe, a few wooden chairs, and … … a gong. Complete with a little stand and a mallet. ---

I’ve got a [Buddy Christ](http://www.jayandsilentbob.com/budchrisdass1.html) dashboard statue. It’s still in the original packaging and is on a bookshelf in my living room. I was going to put it on the actual dashboard of my car, but was afraid it would get me in trouble with some police officer who did not appreciate (or understand) the humor in it. ---

I have a six foot tall plastic wolf, standing on his hind legs. He sports a belt with the Coors beer logo on it, and the words “Beer Wolf”. Apparently he used to have a football under his arm, but it’s no longer there. My brother stole it from a bar in college, and it now stands in my back yard–but up until last January he stood in the entrance hall to my house (we moved and don’t have a big enough entrance for him any longer). ---

I have something in one of my kitchen cabinets that I love, and don’t know how I lived without it. The cabintet is one of those extra tall ones that are supposed to be used as a pantry. However, mine hides the breaker box on the top half, and only has shelves on the bottom half. So there was all this wasted space ( 3’ high x 2’ deep) on top. I keep most of my saucepans stacked in there, but it was hell everytime I wanted a large frying pan or my wok, which were at the bottom of the stacks. My husband made this thingy that is basicly a couple of wooden brackets on either side of the cabinet, with a 1" wooden dowel set into the brackets. He then took several small “S” hooks and twisted them so the bottom hook curves to the side when the top hook is on the dowel. Now all my large pans are dangling out of the way. If we need to get to the breaker box, he can lift the whole thing off the brackets. ---

I’ve got a set of the 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica, all there is to know in the world! I read them in the bathroom. I also have a cupid-grand piano, but I’m sure other people have those. I have an ink-blotter my boyfriend gave me for Christmas because I collect fountain pens in a very small way. I have a staggering collection of yaoi doujinshi, but I’ve lost interest in them a bit, which is a shame. I have an indoor lemon tree with inch-long bloodthirsty thorns, sold as a “tropical Christmas tree”. It puts me in a seasonal mood. ---

I also have a Corvette Engine beauty cover signed by the exterior designer, interior designer, suspension engineering guy, two of the test drivers and a sixth that escapes me at the moment. I also have a bokken, axe and many swords and knives. Lots and lots of costumes and formal clothes that I personally cannot do without. That being said… …I never met anyone else with a real human skull sitting on their bookcase. But man, a bananna holder! Wow! ---
