That scary short “Lights Out” and other, similar scary movies. I know better. I have a rabid imagination and know that if I watch stuff like that it will scare me. But I still want to know what happens. But I also don’t. ---

What the photos of the recovered bodies of the astronauts from the two shuttle disasters looked like. I mean, I can’t _even_ pretend it’s anything much more than ghoulishness, even if I’m genuinely curious about what that kind of event does to a human being. Not like that makes me feel any better about it—or that I wouldn’t feel like scum if I somehow _did_ see those pictures. ☹ ---

I would like to know who the biological parents of Michael Jackson’s kids are, not that it’s any of my business. And yet of course, if that information ever WERE to be revealed, yet another round of media attention would be focused on those kids, an undoubtedly unpleasant occurrence for them. Wouldn’t wish that sort of attention on my worst enemy. So I hope we never find out. ---

Pretty much anything that doesn’t jibe with my pre-conceived views of the world. The _wrong_ kind of knowledge. I’m a smart guy, I know what to know and I know what _not_ to know. Even if it’s kinda tempting to want to know, like algebra and things. I know God wants me to know what I know and know no more; else he woulda said it in the Bible. ---

Everybody’s been talking about Donald Sterling, but so far I haven’t managed to find out exactly what he said (or did) that he got in so much trouble for. (I just know it was supposedly wicked racist.) But I’m not sure I really want to know. ---

Compared to the Michael Richards thing–Sterling’s comments are pretty tame. The issues with housing and the fact that people in the sports industry have known he’s racist forever and the mainstream media could not have cared less seems to be the important part. ---
