The teacher was absolutely serious. I went to a private Christian school and ideas like that were floated around. I don’t remember specifically that one, but I was taught about the finding of Noah’s Ark more than once. You all familiar with the ongoing rumors that the wreck of the Ark is on Mount Ararat in Turkey? We watched entire 40+ minute documentaries on teams that went and looked for it. Lots of stories from people who found it but took no pictures(of course). They had us full-blown convinced that boat was there. I think back in the early 90’s, I would have told you that by 2020, we’d have found the Ark and would have tons of footage of it. ---

My young 4th grade teacher was still in sorority dreamland, and made us all learn the Greek alphabet. I can still read Greek out loud, but don’t understand ir. ---
