This also varies a lot by women - I can’t stand a tampon - because anything close to my cervix causes cramps (or perhaps in the hundred or so tampons I’ve worn over the past 30 years when the uncomfort of a tampon is outweighed by the impractibility of a pad I’ve gotten it in wrong every single time) - so cervical bruising during sex … no… But people have different pain/pleasure responses - and pain/pleasure responses are really closely linked. ---

Having a girl that cleans herself out back there can be very fun. Clitoral stimulation makes it better though. ---

Do not read beyond this sentence if graphic discussions of menstruation squick you out. OK, so with regards to this whole “5 teaspoons per cycle” thing, I call BS. Maybe that’s true for some people, but it is certainly not universal. I’ve been using a Diva Cup for the last couple of years, and I can positively assert that there is way more than 5 tsp of fluid over the course of my cycle. I’m not keeping careful track or anything, but bare minimum, there is like 1/2 cup, easy. ---

My first girlfriend had her first period (menarche) when she was at summer camp. Nobody had told her what coming. Nobody had explained even a faint outline of how her system worked. She was in terror, and she thought she was dying. I think that was a reasonable assumption, under the circumstances. ---
