In Danger Zone, because of the funny way Kenny Loggins says those words, I thought that the line “highway to the danger zone” was “highway to the nintyeth hour” (don’t ask why, I just thought he did) Also, in Welcome to The Jungle, the line “You can have anything you want, but you’d better not take it from me.” I thought said “You can have anything you want, but you’d better not take it for free.” In the theme song for Family Ties at the end when they go “Without us, shie lie lie lie” (or however those last sounds are spelled :)) I thought that they were singing a lyric, so, in my brain’s attempt to figure out what they were saying, I came up with “Without us, shining a light.” :smack: ---

The Sarah Lee catch phrase: Nobody Doesn’t Like Sarah Lee. I always thought it was “Nobody Does it Like Sarah Lee.” Wasn’t 'till I saw the phrase actually written out that I realized it. I still like mine better. Nobody doesn’t like Sarah Lee? I’d like to see proof of that…I bet there’s someone out there who really, really, hates it. ---

My previously mentioned White-Stripes-mishearing friend also misheard “In the Cold Cold Night” as “In the Cocoa Night”. ---

Apparently I wasn’t the only one who misheard a lyric in a Stevie Nicks song where, when she sings, “Just like the white winged dove…” I (and when looking on line, it turns out that others) heard it as “Just like the one winged dove…” ---

**Gary “U.S.” Bonds** used to sing: _Don’t you know that I danced, I danced till a quarter to three…_ To this day I _still_ don’t know what the next line is, but I always heard it as: _when they had that nice spaghetti and cheese._😕 😕 ---

Until I saw it in print in an ad, I thought it was ‘Nobody does it like Sara Lee’ meaning they did their stuff different from everybody else. Now I know better. 😉 **Sol** –yup. Google “Rocketman Lyric” and you’ll come up with it. IDBB ---

I had “bad moon on the rise” as “there’s my bedroom on the right”, we thought it was a dirty song! I also heard “million men on mars”. Living in a non-english speaking country can yield great new twists on this, I have heard a Swede singing “I’ts the power of downtown” (Final Countdown). ---

I once misheard a lyric from “Candy Man.” There’s another song, I think it’s “Ventura Highway,” with a line that goes something like “Seasons crying no despair.” I thought it was “She was crying, ‘Notice pair.’” Jeez, what an attention hog she was. ---

They DON’T say “I miss the rains down in africa?!” What do they say? I probably have the record for most misunderstandings of a song for: Bon Jovi Dead or alive Always heard it like Medal of time medal of lime Dead or a lime(?) or anything that involves time or limes. ---
