**Cyberhwk** , your post reminded me of something that happened in, of all classes, a **Family & Nutrition** class!

The teacher was reading out the school announcements to the class one morning, and she came to this one: “There will be a sax concert later on this week…”

You can guess what she referred to it as instead: “…a **sex** concert…!” She did realize her mistake, and also the irony (?) of it being a family health class, but it was still funny! 🙂

[sub]A sex concert? Now why isn’t that something that I’d necessarily want to see? :D[/sub]

In the early '80s, a witty retort was: Person 1: “Oh, shit.” Person 2: “Not in here, please.”

So I was at a friend’s house, in the spring, when there was a lot of mud about. I wiped my feet on the doormat before going inside, but the sides of my shoes were still dirty. As I found out while taking them off.

Rilch: “Oh, shit.”

Friend: “Not in here, please.”

Rilch: “It’s okay; I’ll wipe it up.”

My daughter said it, she was 5 at the time. A couple of summers ago, a nice sunny afternoon & we were outside having a BBQ & had just met some neighbors, Butch was one of the neighbors. Ash (my girl) was playing ball & was trying to get Butch’s attention & called out “Bitch! Hey Bitch!” I leaned towards her & said it’s “Butch, sweetie. It’s Butch!”

But when I see him around town, I still think of him as Bitch!
